Norval
Morriseau, one of Canada's most important and
influential artists, spent his youth in remote Northern
Ontario where he developed his unique "Woodlands"
style which has inspired many of Canada's Native artists.
Norval Morrisseau created beautiful, vibrant and colourful
images depicting the culture of the Ojibwe people and the
natural world which sustained them.
