The moose in the print is in search of more Mi'kmaq wisdom and enlightenment. Although, my family crest (Benoit) is represented by the eagle, I use the moose to represent my spiritual journey.  In addition, I use  Mi'kmaq petroglyphs(example: animals, floral designs, and Mi'kmaq motifs) from the Nova Scotia Museum to give my art more joy, pride, and authenticity.
